Question Which kimono robe color looks the best?

I need you 0pinon on a fairly trivial question. I am tossing up on what type of color would be the best kimono robe for me to choose.. The robes are both the same but one is purple and the other is black. What do you think?

Really this would come down to what is your favorite color not mine. But i would go with the black, taking into consideration that i do not know if it is for a male of a female. a black kimono robe looks very sex on a woman and also is suitable for a man. so given the situation i think that a black unisex kimono robe would be a good choice

What is the difference between a kimono and a robe?

I am looking to buy a nice sexy robe however i am a little confused. i thought that a kimono and a robe were two different thing and now your site as calling them a kimono robe.. what is the difference and is there any.

Sure there is a few little differences. For starters you can actually have all three choices. there are kimono robes, robes and kimonos. The most obvious difference between a kimono a robe is the size and shape of the sleeves, they are a total different shape. Another point of the difference between the kimono and the ordinary bath robes is that they tie or rope which goes around the waist is also a different shape and size.  Also if you look at the difference between a kimono robe and a kimono or (Japanese kimono) is usually the quality of craftsmanship, materiel, length and also patterns. all or some of these may be different.
